I've had Red for 11 years, he was a feral cat who stopped by the house and decided to stick around (largely due to the Calico Girl (cat). He's been a cherished member of the family. Over the 4th of July he had a bad spell and was diagnosed with Restrictive/Intermediate Cardiomyopathy (heart failure). It's only a little over a month and a half now and after 3 vets (one holistic), he is having good days again. I purchased the 240 Tabs of this product after only reading the reviews. I took the bottle with me to the vet and was pleasantly surprised when they sold the product and actually recommended it. I was worried that my cat wouldn't "eat" the pills so while I was at the vet, I purchased the liquid form. The liquid form cost $31.50 at the vet. It is flavored so cats should not mind it. The only problem is, in order to give it to your cat you have to squirt it in using a syringe. Why am I relaying all of that? Well... the very good news is Red likes the tablet form. The bottle says 4 tablets (2 twice a day). I just put them in front of him and he views it as a treat. It was also worth asking the vet how many (pill and/or liquid (ML) you could give.

I am happy that we are trauma free in the vitamin department.

Based on previous reviews, I purchased this supplement for my new Maine Coon kitten and couldn't be more pleased. Over a month's time, her coat has become thick and "oh so soft", plus she feels solid and strong. I've been giving them as directed, 2 tablets a day for a kitten. I place one on top of her wet food and she immediately finds it and picks it out, like a cherry on top of a sundae ... she loves them. Purchased a second Maine Coon kitten 2 days ago and am happy to say, he loves them, as well.

We are transitioning our cats to a raw diet and, while most of them are now eating raw meat without any problems, organs are hard to come by around here and they still don't know what to do with bone-in meat. Two of the cats are quite reluctant to eat any meat at all so they are primarily on grain-free canned foods. I've been worried about them getting enough of the vitamins, etc that they need and that ideally they would be getting from bones and organ meats; I've tried powdered supplements but the cats don't like that stuff mixed up in their food. So I purchased a small bottle of Nu-Cat vitamins as an experiment and am happy to report that even my pickiest cat eats them like candy. In fact it's hard to limit each cat to only two twice a day--at vitamin time it's a real feeding frenzy. I am very happy to have found something my cats will eat and that is much less complicated and messy than adding powdered supplements to their food. I will be buying a bigger bottle soon.
